Central Brittany B and B is situated alongside the Nantes et Brest Canal on the La Velodyssee / Euro Velo Route 1 cycle path in the village of Rohan post code 56580 co-ordinates 48°03’57.8″N 2°44’54.9″W
Pete and I are the proud owners we live onsite and run the B and B year round. We renovated our home located on the edge of the village of Rohan to accommodate and run the B and B in 2019 which opened its doors to guests in April 2020 ( or so we had hoped, but the Covid-19 Pandemic came along )

Sky View Rohan Suite Canal View
Our Victorian Town house has 3 rooms dedicated to guests on the top floor of the house accessed via an internal staircase.
Sky View is a Double which can be configured into a triple or a twin to meet the needs of guests.
Canal View is a fixed Double but can have an occasional use bed added for a third person. Canal View & Sky View share a bathroom.
Rohan Suite is a double room which can have an occasional use bed added for a third person and has a private bathroom.
Sharon’s culinary skills are enjoyed by all at our Table d’hotes evening dining where the menu changes daily. Locally sourced ingredients, organically certified where possible allow for the creation of the most flavourful vegetarian cuisine.
A hearty , healthy breakfast is served too.
Exploring Brittany from Central Brittany B and B
We are open all year round and we specialise in hosting Walking Breaks for one week in each of the months of April, May, June, September and October. At all other times we are open for guests many of whom are cyclists using the La Velodyssee route which begins in North Devon UK and finishes on the Spanish border. a total route of 1,300km. The famous Nantes et Brest Cycle path follows the canal and is a route of 364km and with an impressive 238 locks along the way.
We are Mid point between the two chateau towns of Pontivy and Josselin being an equal distance of 25km canal side tow path route. We often host guests over 2 nights who spend one day cycling to each of the towns and then enjoying delicious suppers here with us at our Table d’hotes. Walking Breaks – a maximum of 6 people stay over the break, during the first dinner together we get to now one and another and begin to discuss and plan the weeks walking. If you prefer not to join with the other walkers and go it alone or as we like to create a walking community group for the week. the choice is yours and their is no pressure. Pete and I will join the group for 2 walks during the week. See our Walking Break offer HERE
We have lots of information and plenty of maps for specific walks in the area some of which can be accessed from the B and B on foot. In order to explore further afield or to places of specific interest does involve driving to the location. There are many locations within 30 minutes and if you want to head to the coast the maximum drive is 45minutes.
Cycling Breaks – we have a 2 night offer for cyclists, begin your stay by checking in earlier and taking afternoon tea. Then a cycle to Pontivy and return for evening dinner at our table d’hotes and the next day cycle to Josselin , You can of course reverse this suggestion if you wish. Both Chateau towns are approximately 25km along the canal tow path making easy riding. See our 2 night offer HERE
